An exceptional example of the iconic German Gewehr 43 (G43) semi-automatic rifle, one of the most desirable and historically significant infantry rifles of the Second World War. Developed as Germany’s answer to the Soviet SVT-40, the G43 combined the firepower of a detachable 10-round magazine with a reliable gas-operated action, making it one of the Wehrmacht’s premier battle rifles.
This rifle is presented in very attractive collector condition, featuring an excellent wartime hardwood stock with an appealing patina and honest handling wear consistent with military service. The metal finish exhibits a pleasing original appearance with light edge wear while retaining sharp markings throughout. The receiver displays clear Waffenamt acceptance proofs and factory markings, and the rifle is equipped with its original-style receiver-mounted ZF4 sniper scope and mount, completing the classic G43 sniper profile.
The rifle includes one detachable 10-round magazine bearing wartime markings. The stock, handguard, and metal components complement one another well, resulting in an outstanding overall presentation that would be equally at home in a discerning military collection or on display.
